We provide over 350 bednights supporting over 30 people every year so there is an ongoing need for this kind of support. We accommodate the young people (16-25) in host families, which are drawn from members of Churches in Leyland. The young people find themselves homeless for a variety of reasons and we interview them and assess them before we ask our families to give them a bed for the night.

 The motivation for the work comes from Jesus' statement in the Gospel of Matthew (Chapter 25):

I was homeless and you took me in.

We appreciate that many people in the area are willing to support our ministry, but do not feel able to engage actively in providing accommodation. 

I am asking if you would support S.L.E.A.P financially by making a contribution of £5 or £10 per month for our work on a direct debit basis.
