MISSION STATEMENT

To provide both emergency and medium term accommodation for young people in housing need, aged 16-25 years, by Host Families in the Leyland area to enable them to live independently within society with confidence and self esteem.

The project will seek to:

• Provide good quality accommodation for both homeless and vulnerable young people by recruiting stable host families from the Leyland area predominately from local churches.
• G ive appropriate care, practical and emotional support for the young people on the project.
• Enable the young people to move on to more suitable accommodation.
• Provide training and practical support for host families.
• Work in partnership with churches and other agencies in the Leyland area, particularly to raise awareness of the issues relating to youth homelessness.
