S.L.E.A.P. has worked closely with a number of outside agencies, including South Ribble Key, South Ribble Borough Council and Manchester Methodist Housing Group. We have been privileged to work alongside these agencies and will continue to work in partnership with them in the future for the benefit of the homeless young people in the South Ribble area.
Our growing links with Manchester Methodist Housing Group has been principally due to our working together towards the opening of a new homelessness/housing project at Dorothy Avenue.
It is an exciting project (not without its difficulties in setting up!), providing a five-bed space emergency unit called 'Bay 6', and five move-on flats called 'Haddon Lodge'. Along with Spurgeon's Child Care, S.L.E.A.P. look forward to seeing the project become a great success in providing a major resource of support for young people in housing need in the South Ribble area.
